Tom Bombadil's Street Shoes

I found Tom Bombadil's street shoes in a Paris shop window in shopping alley near La Madeleine Church.
I also was treated to a wonderfully idiosyncratic sculpture exhibit under an umbrella sky.
One of the most delightful expressions of simple joy I was privileged to witness under this umbrella sky was young women and young men and "ladies of a certain age" pirouetting and sweeping gracefully in arcs beneath the umbrellas. Even a gentleman my age posed for several photos from his friends' group with la grand Chevaliette.
Life is exquisitely good. A lot of other people apparently felt that way as well.
